Description
Dante’s olfactory family is: Aromatic – Fougère. The fragrance opens with citrus (bergamot from Calabria) and spicy (black pepper) top notes. At the heart of the fragrance there are woody and earthy notes (Elemi Resin, Vetiver), amber notes given by the elegance of Ambroxan and a hint of floral given by lavender and geranium. The base notes are mainly woody and resinous (Cedarwood, Labdanum).
This aftershave by Toscana Factory Lab in addition to soothing the skin, nourishing and hydrating it, also takes on the function of Eau de Toilette given the percentage of fragrance present inside. Here are explained some properties of the ingredients present in it:
Glycolipids : These compounds made up of macromolecules that contain carbohydrates linked to lipids are obtained from plants. Their function is cellular recovery, i.e. the skin’s ability to retain moisture, minimize transepidermal water loss and overall skin tone and texture.
Aloe juice : this gel obtained from the homonymous cold-pressed plant and from organic farming, has a healing power. Aloe juice, being rich in precious substances such as vitamins, enzymes and essential amino acids, protects the skin from dehydration, and thanks to its soothing and refreshing properties, it restores hydration and freshness (even after exposure to the sun).
Blueberry Extract : obtained from plants grown in organic farming, this extract has a regenerating, antioxidant, nourishing and protective function for the skin.
Panthenol : Panthenol improves hydration, reduces itching and inflammation of the skin. Accelerates and improves the healing of epidermal wounds. It is often used in sunburn treatment products. When panthenol is applied topically, it penetrates the lower layers of the skin, is absorbed by the skin cells and converted into pantothenic acid (more commonly known as vitamin B5). It is this penetration that allows for essential hydration.
Sodium PCA : Sodium PCA is a sodium salt of pyroglutamic acid. It is an amino acid that occurs naturally in many proteins. It is part of the NMF (natural moisturizing factor), ie compounds that allow the natural maintenance of skin hydration.
It is used in cosmetics as a moisturizer, humectant. This ingredient is also non-toxic, non-irritating and non-allergenic.
Guar gum : obtained from the seed of a legume, this compound is a film-forming agent creates a thin film on the skin that gives the skin a velvet effect.
